1. Get to know the person
2. Get them to talk about what they like 3. Modify the light 4. Don't be afraid to shoot tight 5. Use live view ( if camera has it) 6. What is it or who is it 7. Find a location 8.Check background 9. Turn off flash 10. Try different positions and poses Environmental portraits use the background to describe the person. Then studio portraits have plain background so that the subject stands out. Then candid photos have motion in them but they don't have to pose or anything I'd say its more of an off guard photo.
Bielaski's photos are amazing. His photos are clean, realistic and shows what wants to shown. For example these men dedicate their time in working in the fields. Then the guy in a soccer stadium obviously says he plays soccer and has a passion for it. Then the other works or spends his time in a barber shop. But point being Bielaski's photo are very good. They also get to the point. I Like these photos a lot because Bielaski's thinks outside the box. For I would've never thought of doing this poses or places.
I see an African- American man holding a cake on his right hand. He is wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes. Looks like he’s in a super market or something similar. There are cakes of different shapes and flavors in the background.
The photo was taken at an eye level shot. Low aperture with great depth of was definitely used in this picture. I don’t think the shutter counts at this point since there is no motion but I do supposed it was pretty high. The contrast is very good. The colors are vibrant. I think this photo represent this man addiction to cake. Although he looks threatening. There is a good man inside him. Showing his love for cake, makes him look weak but the way he is poses gives the opposite. I’d say this is a perfect photo to represent his love for cake. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it but I do think he could’ve been more creative. Maybe if the man would smile, it would give it a little more emotion. These are just my thoughts but no matter what this photo is well taken. My academic goals this year is to pass all of my classes.
Two- three things I would want to learn or try in 2016 are being more talkative and go skydiving. This year I would like to focus on improving my school habits by doing my homework. Things I can do to accomplish these improvements is to be more responsible. Three non- material things that make me happy are my family and exercise. Places I would like to visit in 2016 include Texas and New York. A Bad habit I would like to overcome is biting my nails. Top 3 materials I would like this year would be my license, a car, and more money. I am inspired my cousin. T.V. show I want to watch this year is Master of None. My biggest wish for another person would be to have no regrets. |
